The image below shows the Client Dashboard:

When you first enter the 'Contacts' area, you will be shown a list of all clients. The Client Dashboard is made up of 3 different areas, which are situated on the blue bar at the top. It will automatically open to 'Client' section. This article focuses on the 'Client' section.

Click on the 'Add' button to add a new Client, Business or Contact.

You can export your list of clients by simply clicking on the 'Export' button.

At the top of your screen you will see a 'Search' function. This works like any other search function in TM3. You will also notice an 'Advanced Search' option.

As I am on the 'Client' screen, it brings up all of the fields I can search a client with. If I was on the 'Business' or 'Contact' screen the parameters would be different.

Once you have entered your search parameters, click 'Search' to show results, 'Clear' to clear the search or 'Cancel' if you wish to exit the search function.

When you enter the 'Client' section, it will display all clients in your database unless you do a specific search. 25 clients are shown per page and you can navigate between pages by using the arrows at the bottom or clicking on the page number you wish to go to.

There are 12 columns which are populated with information in our 'Client' list. These are:

  • Reference

  • Name

  • Address

  • Postcode

  • Date of Birth

  • Telephone

  • Email

  • Registered

  • Balance

  • Location

  • Business

  • Practitioner

You can order these columns by clicking on the column name you wish to sort by. An arrow will appear, either pointing up or down, distinguishing whether the order is ascending or descending.

The image below shows these columns populated. You can click 'View' to open their patient record. You can find out more about client records by clicking here.

The client data will contain different icons, different colours and other differences explained below.

You can see a patient's name and details in red. This means that the patient has outstanding charges.

In the following image, you will see 2 records with differences between them:

The first icon is a light bulb. This will appear grey (like the record highlighted in red) if the client record status is 'non-current.' The light bulb will appear yellow (like the record highlighted in navy) if the client record status is 'current.'

The second icon indicates whether the client is male or female. The icon will be pink when indicating female and blue when indicating male.

An 'Alert' icon (a red triangle with an exclamation mark) can also be present on a client record if an alert is assigned to them. As well as there being the icon, the client's name will also appear in a red box.

If you click on the client's name who has an alert, it will pop up, allowing you to see what the alert states.

'Provisional' clients also appear on the dashboard. If you have any 'provisional' clients you need to review, a yellow bar will appear towards the top of your Client dashboard. You can choose to click 'Show Now' allowing you to see all provisional clients, or click on individual clients highlighted in peach to review their records. To do this, simply click 'Review.'

Once you 'Review' your provisional client, you can then mark it as real or link it to an existing client.
