Note: This article will be working from the standard First Consultation template, you may create your own so it will be a different layout to the standard template.
When a new patient or a existing patient with a new complaint books an appointment, you will need to create a first consultation.
To do this, click on the patient's appointment in the diary, displaying the 'Edit Appointment' screen. Simply click on 'Go to Case' beside the
When you click on 'Go To Case' you will then be taken to the patient's Clinical Notes linked to this new case. The below pop up will appear. Select 'First Consultation' and then 'Add Consultation' to generate the First Consultation template.
Now that the 'First Consultation' template has been generated for the case, you can start completing the information. Once you have finished the consultation, click 'Save.'
